How many sales influence factors can you spot through the lens of my iPhone over six minutes around Sydney? (there’s at least 1 per minute)

See the sales influencers revealed in this post.

Are you good at being alone?

Me too.

Maybe even too good at it. If there is such a thing.

A member of James Schramko’s community made this comment after seeing me around Manly Beach last week (where I was presenting at SuperFast Business Live):

“But then there was guy I saw in a Manly coffee shop at 8am on Thurs morning … looked quite shy, quiet, potentially unapproachable … low profile for 1 and 3/4 of the event … and then he stepped up on stage WHAM POW BOSH WAKE UP its Kevin! I have never laughed so much in years … honestly … delivery was 110%.”

I love meeting new people, but like most introverts, my nature is to hang back and observe. A few hours in the mix requires several more to unwind.

One of my great pleasures in life is exploring a new place. Setting off in the morning with no agenda and ending up wherever the day takes me. You’ll discover deep insights to the human condition on days like this.

Discoveries that can make you a better marketer. Certainly a better writer.

Saturday in Australia was one of those days.

Enjoy this moving snapshot of my day that started in Manly, then to Sydney and back again. Notice how not only the sights change, but also the sounds and the energy.

Copywriters and persuaders have a duty to study all the elements of human behavior. Sometimes the subtlest hints offer the deepest insights.

Oh, and if writing copy leaves you feeling cold and lonely, join the brightest copywriters and marketers online inside Copy Chief. You’ll save off the $97/mo cover price using the code on this page.

    Hi, Kevin,

Thanks for sharing your video – it was indeed lovely.

Had always been curious and subconsciously desired to see the view you provided. Feeling satisfied right about now. Boy are you in tune!

To be honest, didn’t even look for the sales influencers – just wanted to see what it was like roaming around Sydney. Beautiful and full of life!

    Much appreciated,
    ˜Carol

That’s okay Carol… I only made up the influencers thing so I could show the video 🙂

I’m glad you liked it. I can’t wait to get back there.

The “Sales influencer” I spotted is YOU, Kevin. You got me to watch a video that I never would have watched if you hadn’t sold me on the idea with your “spot the influencers” game. I think I learned something important from that. Now if I can just figure out what it is …

hey Kevin, enjoyed a look at Sydney through your lens. You showed off a slice of Sydney that is truly a fabulous city – vibrant, cultural and a hive of activity. Sales influencers I spotted were – didgeridoo musicians, asian busker, market stall vendors, cafe’s and shops.

Good ones, Kieran. That whole area leading up to the Opera House is a fine study in high end retail induction.
