    Reminds me of a lunch conversation I had with the owner of a local advertising and branding company who has been in business for 15 years.

    When I asked them how they know how much to charge, and how long it’ll take, he replied, “You assume we know!”

    Hey Aaron,

    Yeah, man. We all assume there’s a secret menu somewhere. That’s why I preach to freelancers to decide their “backstage” price and charge by time of project, not dollars. Less head trash that way.
