    My name is Mike and love Logistics but was fed up with small & medium size shippers not able to compete with their larger competitors. So I created a simple 3 step process that makes my clients more competitive and guarantees they’ll save money.

      “… but was fed up with small, but high-quality shippers getting crushed by larger competitors.” Now, your prospect can say, “Hell yeah, this guy gets it.”

      Try telling less in this format. Consider that every fact you share causes your reader/listener’s brain to work harder. What are the truly essential facts people need to know to understand who you are, what you do and why it will be of interest to them?

    Rebel yell

    My name is suti
    I love Korean culture and interacting with Koreans
    But was fed up with the expense and complication of moving to and living in Korea
    So I created a meeting service
    That allows Koreans to meet an American in the States and practice their English

    How is that rebel yell? Rawwwr. (((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))

    I will say this helped make clear what I want to do in the simplest and straightforward way.

    My name is Douglas Brown.
    I love helping managers who feel like their businesses are getting out of control.
    But I was fed up with only being able to help them one at a time under slow-moving low-bidder contracts.
    So I created “Managers’ Pit-Stop”, a short-term consulting service that allows managers to identify and implement the solutions they need the most at 1/5th of the time and cost they have been used to.
    That won’t be the final name. Now that I have a bit more clarity on what “it” is, I know it needs a name and I can start thinking about the branding. So thank you for that very valuable insight. Might be the best 8 minutes I’ve spent in a while! Business-wise, anyway.

      Very good, Douglas. Strive for more specificity in your description of the problem it solves. “Getting out of control” can mean many things. Dial in the message to reflect the thing you help them achieve most often and most effectively.
