Whataya want from me?

Welcome to a new year, dear Sunday reader. 

To kick off, rather than dispense some semi-deep wisdom or big life perspective… 

I’d like to hear from you about what you WANT me to write about in these Sunday blogs. 

See, I regard these Sunday messages, and all the wise replies you send me through emails, as the most precious line of communication I have to the outside world. 

It’s pretty damn special to have the attention of thousands of people who (hopefully) look forward to reading my messages each week. 

As a “failed” entertainer in my previous life, I don’t take this privilege lightly.

So, I want to deliver for you even bigger this year.

After two decades in the biz, there is a LOT I can share with you about a variety of things that can make life better as a freelancer and solopreneur. 

It gets lonely out there, afterall. 

Since there’s no point in vaguely asking people what they want – especially when, as the author, you’re supposed to know what you want them to get more than anyone…

I’ll list out a few options based on what I’ve been delivering in hopes to get a sense for what you enjoy most.

Sound good?

1. Life lessons (mistakes I’ve made that you can potentially avoid)
2. Road stories (adventures of comedy, copy, travel, and the crazies I’ve met along the way)
3. The craft (tactical examples of effective writing)
4. The business (tweaks and ideas for growing your business)

Don’t think of this as a “choose it or lose it” kind of thing.
